Delete your SogoApp account & data

You can permanently delete your SogoApp account and the data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

Open SogoApp on your phone.

Go to Settings → Account.

Tap Delete Account.

Confirm on the dialog. Your account is then scheduled for deletion.
Option 2 — If you can't access the app
Email us at support@sogoappusa.com with the subject “Delete my account” and include your registered phone number. We'll verify your request and process the deletion.
What happens next
When you request deletion, your account is disabled immediately and permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period. If you simply log back into SogoApp within those 30 days, the deletion is cancelled and your account is restored.
Data that is deleted
- Your profile — name, “about”, and profile photo
- Your phone number and account record
- Your chat messages and shared media (photos, videos, voice notes)
- Your contact matches, status updates, and wallet balance
Data that may be retained
- Records we are legally required to keep (for example, payment or transaction records) are retained only as long as the law requires, then deleted.
- Server diagnostic logs are automatically purged within 90 days.
