What we sell
Coins are the in-app currency. You buy them inside the app and spend them on gifts for creators you like, or on boosting your own status so more people see it. Every purchase is handled by the App Store or Google Play — we never take your card details.
Prices are in US dollars and may differ by country and store. Coins are a digital item for use inside SogoApp — they have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts and are non-refundable once spent. Purchases are made through Apple or Google, so any refund request is handled under their policies; see Terms of Service.
Earning
Gifts you receive during a live stream become diamonds in your wallet. Once you pass the minimum, you request a withdrawal and we pay it to your bank account. Creators receive 80%; SogoApp keeps 20%.
Put coins behind a status and it runs for 24 hours beyond your own contacts. You set the budget and choose who can see it.
Privacy
We would rather tell you exactly what is protected than use a word that sounds better than the truth.
Messages and calls are encrypted while they travel between your device and our servers — TLS for data, DTLS-SRTP for call media.
Our admin tools return message metadata only, never contents. A message can be read only after someone reports it, and every such access is recorded.
Your chat history lives in the app on your phone. Delete the app or your account and it goes with it.
Conversations are not an advertising surface. Promoted posts appear only in the status feed, and they are labelled.
What we don't claim. SogoApp is not end-to-end encrypted. Messages are encrypted in transit and stored on our servers, and a lawful request can compel disclosure. The person you are talking to can still screenshot what you send unless you use view-once media or turn on capture protection. The full detail is in the app under Settings → Encryption.
